No quite sure on that RM, China is OUR greatest importer [coal and iron nore] and make up over 30% of our export trade.
Should they react it would cripple us.

Once a country has been inspected by WHO and pronounced vurus free after however many days it decrees will be safe....then it will be safe to do so from that country (provided the shipping is deemed safe too).
And themselves - and both will get out of it, and only conspiracy theorists think it was intentional. However yes, they could permanently cripple us anytime they wanted, we are not the only source of commodities (Brazil, South Africa and other places have plenty of iron ore and coal) . A fact of life - we sell to China because we cannot sell a lot anywhere else. We have to buy their goods in return (balance of trade) - that is the whole issue that China and USA are fighting over. We have a commodity economy (60% mineral exports) like Russia (75%) and guess what else - almost entirely agriculture, tourism and foreign students. We have had this precarious economy for a long time but have ignored it while it was making money for us. Compare it with France - dominantly manufacturing.Gpx5000 said:Redfin said:RM Outback said:DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM CHINA. We hold the power .
