I'd secret it away for a while, while I looked for its really big big brother ,... no good jumping ship when the shows about to begin.
Depending on the economic climate and local and national personal safety issues related to handling the potential worth of such a find I would contemplate the worth of the object whole versus the safety of reducing it to manageable quantatative parts that could be sold off in dribs and drabs far away from where anyone knows me personally ,.... dependant of course in which country it was found. Secrecy would be paramount, as otherwise someone would walk in and take it away I feel( maybe ).
so if I was to reduce its size to parts I'd want to make the most I could out of it still, so I'd check out all local avenues of gold sales ( jewelry too even ), just to see where I stand in it all.

Someone looking from the sideline could be forgiven for thinking it was a one man team, as even though thirty guys were running in the same direction yelling and screaming pass it to me, pass it to mee ! , narry a look sideways or even a feint of a pass sideways would be seen ,... just into the car and gone at the end of the run, with all others dumb to the ploy and left twiddling their fingers in reminisce of what once could have been, in an eerie twilight of insane inuendo and insult left reverberating amongst the losers that never knew they were !
