I photographed these pair this afternoon over my fence,a mother and chic kookaburra having a feed.

What is over your fence,if you think it might be of interest take a photo and post it :D

Mr magoo what a view, you ain't got room for 4 lodgers have you,we are quiet and will not make a mess :D we are all house trained and a I forgot to mention fletch my dog,he's house trained too. :Y:

Thanks MegsyB.

I had a brush tale lastnight just over the fence in a camphour laurel but like you I couldn't take a decent photo,I need a better ($$$) camera.

Bats :8 they smell and are too noisy :awful:

Wow, that is a load of rubbish, but if the Local Council is anything like our one, it is like belting your head up against a brick wall, but when it comes to Council regulations about fencing, building or any thing like that they are like a mongrel dog.

Far out Keitzy. Between you and me I know whose got the better view. That's a crap load of crap.

You wouldn't see that around where I live. Leave something on the lawn up here over night, by morning it would be gone. Wouldn't matter what it was. A perfect lawn every time.

:8 :argh: :N: :poop: reminds me of some of the houses and units I had to work on many years ago glad I don't have to worry about it now. Get as many council email addresses as possible and hammer them with daily photos and question marks. The upside is if they do nothing about cleaning it up and only fob you off with a spin Dr reply you have a record of every attempt to get it sorted. Let it run its cause if it takes that long and then threaten them with taking it to the media :D that ll put a rocket up'em hopefully.

I got an illegal Pub next door, won,t take photo,s as the owner is complete D.H. VB Bogan.
Invites all his bogan drongo mates around 3-4 nights a week for beers after work, more beers the MORE Noise that comes from the Gararge come illegal pub.
On hot days i have my rear door open for ventilation but often have to close it due to the passive smoke and excessive noise. He is pretty feral, has two dogs as stupid as
himself, who are let loose in the front yard of an evening and bark at every pedestrian that walks by on either side of the road. He has two young children and often
burns disposable nappies at night to reduce room in his rubbish bin.

I must say i am pretty unlucky when it comes to people living close by, with excessive noise, loud parties, hoon drivers etc.
I only wish the people in my street would go to their friends houses for a change.

Am completely over life in the suburbs. :argh:   8.( :awful: :poop:

Swinging and Digging, it is not all in the suburbs, I can assure you, we live on five acres 20 kms from town, we have the local drug house (now supposedly closed) a few hundred meters up the road, the father is now inside for a few months, so the son seems to have taken over, he has a car which I think he is trying to get fast enough to outrun the Police the next time he is doing a delivery (sort of Dukes of Hazzard thing) and up until a few months ago our neighbour loved loud heavy metal music (noise). Our complaints to the Police were begrudgingly done or not done at all. Finally found someone (Police) a bit higher up who got something done, now it is nearly back to normal. Long weekends and holiday periods we just have to put up with the parties and motor bikes and cars racing as the people that come to the area seem to think that the rules that apply where they live are not applicable when they are on holidays.

Yes i know its not just all in the suburbs? Though a rural setting depending on the property can be used as a buffer to a degree ( distance to nearby houses, trees etc ).
In my street of 70 houses the Most consistently Noisy people just happen to be 5-6 houses in very close proximity to me? 8.(

Its a sign of massive decline in Australian way of life, people not caring about how their actions effect others who live close by?

Yes long weekends? I avoid well known popular areas on long weekends for that very reason.
