What is it about PA?

I'm a relative newbie to PA, but I have learned so much and met so many great detecting friends who I would trust with my ex wife Days in the fields with you guys have been a blast, as are the camps. I look for gold, but I love also reading of your treasure and gem hunts. My dad loved gem hunting. All members show incredible comraderie in all forms of in adversity (Let's Talk, the battles of alcholism, cancer, depression etc). What an incredible grouping of people you/we are. I am glad that I found you and am very proud to be a member of this incredible forum. May 2017 be great for us all!!!

Even to the point where you guys, that I barely knew were prepared to come a few hours out of your way to rescue me from a ditch....

Biggest thanks go out to Nugget really for making us this special place to exist in all together ,..... for without Nuggets creative passion to cause this all to appear from the recesses of his mind we would all be alone somewhere else ,.... I wasn't here from the absolute get go, but, I can still see the glue that held this together from the beggining ,.... Since then, we have all made PA what it is today together !

I still enjoy the forum as much now as I did when I joined. Nugget built it and set the standard and the mod team does it's best to keep that standard going strong and also try to keep the happy and very Aussie vibe it started with. Some days it can be difficult but mostly the good members here keep it in good shape and help the mod team out also when something is not right.

All the contributing members here should realise that without themselves it would not be the great forum that it is.

I always get a good feeling when I see that members are meeting up and having a great time out chasing whatever treasures they hunt. It's not just an online social media forum, I think this type of social media is true to it's word as it does get members out socialising and meeting up in all sorts of places.

Also it's pretty rare that I can go away fossicking and not actually meet a member from here, really goes to show how popular the forum is.

Well done Nugget, it's not just a forum you built, it is now an institution in Aussie culture.
