Help Support Prospecting Australia:
Took our dog Nelson to the vet yesterday for yearly injections, Heartworm etc, free blood test.
This morn I took him in for a teeth clean.
Crikey these vets drive nice cars!!! They do a great job nonetheless.

Sitting on my bum (off to work later today) reading sooo much wonderful information on this site.
Have only been a member for a week and I'll need to live to at least a hundred years old to read everything (haven't even watched the tele since I joined up!).
Me thinks I may need to go to rehab to get over this crazy addiction... no wait a minute, I'll rephrase that to a passion!

Sittin up the street in the car with the aircon on overdrive whilst watching the cars go by as I wait for Mrs S to finish ordering something for daughter for Chrissy while I contemplate hunting up a Silver Storm one day soon......

Just got home from a day out gold hunting
Got up early....was away by 8am....headed to the Strathbogie Ranges...got there to find the the first creek target on private land....
nvm so I went to the next 2 places I had on the shortlist....number 2 was pretty much 4WD only - I mean the VS would've got in but doubtful id get out haha..
so aside from burning thru fuel (fml) trekking thru the ranges I headed to spot 3.....which was bone dry.
by this stage it was 11am so I came back home and went out to Rushworth/Whroo.....spent a good 4.5 hours detecting out there....
my best find was a lump of lead LOL.....
5 mins into detecting in Whroo im standing there NOBODY even near and yet weirdly I could smell this 'burning' smell....almost electrical....
Looked at the car...nope its not on fire...hmmmm
Ahhh - when I put my car keys in my back-pack (where my batteries also are) the keys (by touching both terminals of the 9V battery)
caused it to really heat up - im prob lucky it didn't explode...Hence keep ur batteries seperate to everything else LOL.
So saw some landscape, learnt a lesson, and had a good day despite no Gold today.........ah well 'thems the breaks' as they say....
Need to find me some creeks that have water I think.....

Preparing the prado and packing the camper for our trip to Victoria.
Trying to take the least amount of gear possible and still keep the digger happy
I put things in the not going pile and she keeps moving them to the things to pack pile.

Have had a problem with tingling and pins and needles since I got a touch up from a bull last year. Not real painful or anything but enough of a problem to know something is not right.
About 6 weeks ago I had a string of tests. They shot nuclear crap in me and zoomed me through a big tube thing, I had xrays, had to run on one of those stationary ramp things and a whole stack of tests all ending in gram.
Got a phone call on Monday saying to come in so they can discuss the results and have been giving birth to bricks since then.
Well I'm not dying! :Y:
I'm fit as a fiddle but came close to being a cabbage. My c3 and c4 vertebrae took a wack and there appears to be a slight crack in some part of the c3 one which seems to have healed well. It has caused a bit of nerve damage or pinching which is causing the pins and needles.
Contact sports like boxing or footy are out of the question but I should be fine for womens cricket and I can cancel my layby on the flash new 4x4 wheel chair.
All in all a big relief and load of my mind.
