Again enjoying a beer after another trip up the Waterfall Way, this time we went back to Wollomombi Falls, last time was in the grips of the drought but this time the rivers are in full flow and it's a spectacular sight, hopefully I can post photos of both without stuffing up the post

We arrived at Evans Head yesterday and I wandered out to check the bar this morning, I reckon it'll be a week before I get out to sea but I'll try the river on Monday, and the guy on the other side just hauled in a beautiful big Jewy, good luck to him, fortune favours the brave.
That would be a decent lift to where he is mate. Good on Him.
Are Jewies an oily fish.
Just had a spring roll and dim sims from a Chinese restaurant. Yumm -I never eat Chiko rolls-yuk!!
Love a Chiko Roll. They are full of, ah and that stuff and not to forget that other stuff. Yummo!!!!
The last time I had a Chiko Roll was with lots of tomato sauce.

Yeah Mackka, he had a really long gaff, he did a bloody good job to land it on his own in those conditions, and as soon as he got some photos he grabbed his gear and big fish and headed off. I wish I was on that side so I could of got some photos of him with his fish.
Mate you know the Rule about the seventh wave, but which is number 6? I have seen some people take terrible risks to catch a fish but not me. The chippo is just around the corner, till the weather calms anyway. Would have been nice to get a couple of shots. Cheers Mackka

having a grolsch premium pilsner and bloody enjoying a couple of them aswell . Great beer.
San Miguel is a Philippine beer , Indonesia is Bintang both are a good drop

Yeah , sampled Calsberg last week . Will try St Miguel Next and Tsingsao . The German Pilsner would be hard to beat Simmo.
Thinking about yesterday. I went to see a bloke that i worked with for over 20 years in hospital, palliative care unit. He had a stroke about a year or so ago, then they found a tumor on the brain and operated, got it but not all. when i got there he was "Comfortable" and sleeping. I just sat there mentally talking to him, saying a few prayers and reading Psalm 23, everyone knows it. I left about 1 1/2 hours later reminiscing on the good times. Told him I loved him. He has less than two weeks. God Bless and Hold those close to you, Closer. Mackka
Prepping to head away tomorrow, Southern Flinders then up to Leigh Creek, Farina (underground bakery visit) and Marree. Looking forward to it.
