Son in-law got wacked the other day on the leg when he went to grab the whipper snipper. He's bloody lucky it's a huge nest, no house on the block yet it's the shed at the old orchard.

I hate European wasps. Fortunately around here they usually just make a hole in the ground that you can put a spoon full of powder into at night. Would be alot harder to destroy inside a structure like that.

Wow how time flys.
There's an old crushing plant on the property.
The owner gave me that decomposing rock and said it should have fine gold in it.Ill crush it an pan it over this weekend.
He said he's been all over the property with a gpx 5000 and has never found a nugget. Hes owned it for 60 years and nobody but him and his sons have looked for gold on it.
Apparently the Chinese found fine gold in the creek and in the rock.
Hes going to take me to the crusher next trip to have a pan.
This was the first of many trips planned to this property so I'm keen to get back out there.

Met up with Northeast & his lovely wife for a chat just now.

Recovering from a infected leg long story short, bad sunburn on my shins, couple of bites on right shin covered with bandaids when bandaid removed peeled all skin off, after week and a half looking good outside at nite bashed my shin hard on garden chair tore open nearly heeled wound woke up next day for work right shin the size of a football and completely red,went to hospital 5am in morning was admitted ,spent the next7days in hospital on iv antibiotics told me I have some sort of skin infection,somehow swabs got lost? Been out of hospital for 3 days now still on oral antibiotics 4 times a day still limping about, go back to doctor tommorrow hopefully for results from second swab taken and clearance to go back to work still have aching pain through right leg hope infection has gone.Best thing about this ordeal has been reading this forum cheers Muk.

Cellulitis Muk, I have had it 4 times with a week in hospital on a drip each time.
Not fun and good luck with the recovery.
