What are the lines through this sapphire?

I am looking forward to getting mine checked out by someone who knows a little more about em, i hope i can get a decent cut stone from it.

So I finally got out to the cq gemfields, work dragged me out to the neighborhood, so I thought I would duck down the road to rubyvale to get someone to look at the stone for me.

The lady who looked at it I get to look at all my shiny rocks she really knows what she is looking at and most importantly is very honest, she doesn't just tell me want i want to hear, so to speak.

She said that the stone is a great shape and size and WOULD facet nicely but mother nature just got everything else wrong :/

Oh well....... there is a but though.

She said that the stone has a nice bronze sheen to it and a flat bottom so if done properly might just cab a nice star sapphire

Ill take that, lol.

Now I just need to find someone that does a nice cab job. Thinkin bout askin the local lapidary club.
