It's weird how the rain areas differ.

to be fair though, BoMs forecasts are a lot better than they were 50 years ago and I cant recall them ever making promises ?panther said:Lucky people... I've had about .000000002 mm in the last 2 heavy showers. Lol. I'm near Gatton. BOM promises are not well regarded here.

The BOM radar looked promising. Lots of thunder and lightning, blew like hell, blowing branches out of the trees, then rain. Only 6 mil but better than nothing.

Just had a reasonable storm pass through Victoria and I got 21mm in about 2 hours in Melbourne, with a little more to come over the next hour or so.

Finally 6mm here this morning too, more on the way yippee. Falling out West in NSW as well. Great to see.
