We are miners now!!!!

Well I’m super excited about this future prospect!!! I met a couple of blokes out bush about 4 years ago (not long after I started prospecting) and they had a mining lease in the area. Just last month they contacted me to see if I was interested in purchasing this lease. One bloke just isn’t interested in the gold and the other bloke is getting on in years so it’s a bit hard for him to do what needs to be done. He is extremely happy that someone as enthusiastic as myself is taking it on.

Over 200 ounces came off this lease, detectable gold. The dirt has not been processed and no ore crushed. There’s a strike of reef lines which they have already detected, I picked up a couple leaders along this line, should make for some great crushing results.

We have a base camp now and we have 20 odd years to do what needs to be done.

I’m super excited to get back out there on Monday and get stuck into some work. All our samples produced ripper results.

Cheers mate.
A lot of work went into getting to this point. Started chasing pre dec 8 years ago, progressed to finding thousands of dollars worth of gold jewelry, made the news (unfortunately) with the hand grenade find and then progressed to prospecting and have been quite successful and now begins the next chapter.....
I intend to lock up several more leases next year.
I'm thinking next year I might make my youtube videos similiar to that great canadian gold show Fools Gold... hahahaha

Cheers blokes, well I have about 57 litres of beer in my trailer and a bottle of a whiskey (Not enough for 21 days I know), fridge is packed with scotch fillet steaks, heaps of doritos and I even chucked in some water. Ready to get to work, I'm aiming to get 4 grams each per day with just a jackhammer, dryblower (keene 151s), dollypot, pick and shovel. If we can achieve that then we will be putting ounces together very quickly when we get the machines in. Bloody excited to hit the road tomorrow.
