I still can't work out how they can charge us for putting power onto the grid??!!

Not sure about that, as I get 70.2 c/kwh of solar input, taken off my bill, and sometimes that fully pays for what I draw and if not will significantly reduce the bill. The rough $2 a day that I mentioned in a previous post was my use as measured by the PowerPal device, but the solar input will drastically reduce that, as I have said above.
