Australian Gold Prospecting & Treasure Hunters Expo 2024

The 2024 Australian Gold Prospecting & Treasure Hunters Expo will be held over three action-packed days at the Bendigo Show Grounds, in the Fosterville Gold Exhibition Centre.

Dates: Friday 20th, Saturday 21st, and Sunday 22nd September 2024

Sun 9am to 3pm
Entry $5 - accompanied children U12 free.

Just a heads up, this event isn't going ahead.

Not only is the year (2024) a typo apparently the month is also wrong. I'm not willing to nominate a month but 2025 is locked in from what I've been told tonight.

Pretty annoyed that we had planned to visit with 2 excited grandkids only to find out in the last hour it's not happening. The upside is we're now free to go anywhere, the kids are really excited to be sleeping in the caravan with Nan and Pop. So detecting is going to be the primary focus, sadly the rain and shitey weather will limit our options.

Thanks for the confirmation Matt. Not a good way to promote yourself and the hobby but it is what it is. For anyone who did have plans to attend I suggest we give Miners Den a spary for the lack of information about rescheduling, I definitely will. Only by a stroke of luck we found out it's rescheduled. Will make time for the event in April 2025 but I'll hold off letting the grandkids know until it's a definite, their not happy.
