Using UAV's

Just wondering if anyone is or has used a UAV for looking for good prospecting sites.
Would make a great video

Hey mate I have a few from WA trips I did about a year ago. To answer your question they are a great tool. I have been too slack to edit the video but here is a still shot to show you what you can see. Why were we there and not closer to the hill in the background. That was because this was the closest we could get without going on their tenement.

You can see where the vehicle is that he dirt is redder and we felt it was likely to hold heavier material? The UAV helped with this, from foot we would never have noticed.

Waypoint CZL ground on a topo map then transfer the waypoint to GE and you will quite often see patches like the above UAV & below GE image. This is a definite starting point in your search especially around exposed decaying granite within the CZL patch.

Not at that spot we didn't have much luck. However we have noticed that this has returned some results, so many variables and this was one of our earlier trips. Hard to say it just looked better than sandy?

I will see what I can do about the video as well.
