All your coppers are looking great,...tidy little pile of PDs happening for you and that 1943 shilling has some great detail on it, looks like it was dropped new. the house pye looks quite happy to be there with you up close, they are always better a friend than a foe.(PM).

Yes this wild mag pie sure is friendly. Food is on its mind.
I foubd my oldest coin today 1914 six pence in very circulated condition. Not good however good things were to come with a beautiful condition 1956 florin and a 1960 six pence. Also to join was a 1944 three pence. A half penny and what looks to be a ww2 navy button

I didn't know you could detect magpies mate, he's very cute.
I just hope you don't find the rest of the footy team :)
Cheers Steve

Magpies make great pets, I've got a couple that come in for a snack everyday, if I don't keep the door shut they let themselves in and stand at the fridge, smart birds. Just wish they didn't crap everywhere......

The magpies in a clan of three. Theres a couple and an odd one out that has been hanging with the couple since lastvseason. At first they bullied it but now its a family of three with chix to come soon i think. Very friendly and good company at times. Also very inteligent. But also trusting in me that i mean no harm. Happy magpie day lol

Nice to see those silvers TM, lots of the older ones end up more worn due to their time in circulation.

I sold the garrett at gold. Retired it from my arsenal. Spent many hours with it. Loved the recovery time and tones it made. Great detector. But wouldnt go as deep as i needed. And living by the sea it just wasnt the right detector for me. After a bit of research and whats available near me i decided to setlle with the minelab etrac. Something different, more advanced, deeper, and probably just what i need for this area by the sea. Havent got it yet, its on its way. Looking forward to the new challenge and experience with my second metal detector. Woohoo

These were the last finds on my last outting with the at gold. 1953 3 pence, 1936 penny, some valves and two other unknown items. Any ideas?
