Tough atv tyres

If ya use a quad for prospecting youll know about plugging tyres if ya do alot of bush bashing,we tried to run the standard 4 plys on our polaris years ago,would of been nice to wear them out but that didnt last long,was averaging 2+ plugs a day,swapped them out for kenda 8 ply radials and there been great,alot of plugs hanging out of them but theyve seen some rough country,was looking at it in the shed today and a cuppla new rears are needed,will be ordering 2 of these,12 plys,bit pricey but they look the goods hopefully,will put them up front also if they go ok later......

Mate, Tony and I got sick of the constant tyre plugging of those Polaris standard tyres.

It is real rough going where we go as you know.

Hey john,yeah they look ok those artrax tyres,it was those or the kendas when i dumped the standard ones last time,there ia another online atv shop in oz that sells another chinese 12 ply also.....
Ran into a bloke in laverton last year that had car tyres fitted over his standard tyres on a yamy,forget the sizes but they let the atv tyres down and slid a certain size car tyres over them and reinflate to secure the car tyres,they were like 16-17 low profiles,youd never get a puncture but i reckon the steering would be heavy and then the traction in sand or wet would of been a bit ordinary,he solved the punture problem though.....
