I don't know if the rain makes much difference. We've only been there once six or eight years back. There was a lot of rubbish and for us some very small gold. A friend of mine picked up a very large nugget there and many others have done well too.

Only one way to find out. But it's a long way to travel, if you're not already nearby.

Also, it's likely that the local indigeneous ladies will have been out there specking as soon as the sky cleared - they don't miss a trick and they've got very sharp eyes for sunbakers.

Will be working 40ks out of there at mcphee Creek
Was thinking on the new road they are scrapping down might be OK as well
Biggest problem would be accom at marble Bar i suppose
Hopefully will have sometime.
