Nice mate, have you been out again? After this weekend I'm going to try and get out as much as possible until mid Winter.

A few bits here, a few bits there......and they start to add up to an 'almost' respectable hoard. ( still need to use zoom :8 )

I definitely need to get out again too, otherwise I might finger wear my collection out.

May need to do a family trip on the next one to make up for my last leave-pass but they have put an order in for more blackberries. :p so another solo trip could be on the cards.

G'Day Wally69,
Hope you did not get the blackberries out of a tin, bit of a worry for some;had a clean up of the yellow from our trip a week or so back and wound up with a neat 8 grams.
It was great to spend some time with you and Retirement Stone and not to forget the RDD; night detecting and scratching around the old heaps and surrounding country.
Cheers, SinHof.

More SDC yellow to brighten your day

That it did Wally69, that it did, much prefer to see photos of realistic finds than mere chatter.
Cheers T.

by the way I like to revisit my finds as well, look really nice under magnification, each is very unique and just love those species, it's where it all came from originally (or most of it anyway.

I wont get rich but its fun finding gold every outing!

Amen & ain't that the truth. I'm still 100% with the SDC & going for another crack on Friday. Some days are under a gram but it all adds up & I love finding any gold. Even the small ones bring a smile after a hard day without much luck or even a **** week at work.
I put all my sub gram bits in a separate vial - there's just on 9 grams in it now alone.

8g  I can still see the image of them in your hand and it confirms my GPX/SDC 20:1 outgun ratio theory, or iit could be more of a gun/novice ratio. :D

It was a great trip....definitely need to fit another one in.

Wally69,
Yes it's great to escape to the bush for a few days detecting, the cooler weather and my new toy are not far away, tomorrow for the toy or Friday;Australia Post willing.
If I can organise a leave pass I might have a quick trip up Nundle way early next week for an educational with the new toy and pick up a couple of deer on the way home, season opens on March one.
Certainly looking forward to another meet-up with you guys, bring it on.
Cheers,SinHof.

I'm really starting to get detector itchy, have spent my last few outings just digging and higbanking, while my perfectly new modified F1A4 sits there staring at me.

What I want to know is whos been digging on the way to Burrendong? I found a spot that just smells like gold, and what do you know, looks like the Minelab guys have been here before me! Please leave some for me fellas.

Seeing all this gold is depressing, I want to get out again soon! If im panning 2 specs for .1gram, there must be bigger pieces close by!

No Gold out that way Twapster just smells like it. :D Well maybe just a little out that way.......

Arghhhh Twapster,

I have left plenty for your F1A4 to find/

I still remember the day I was crying on your shoulder that I could not find any gold with the SDC. We need to have another detecting date sometime this year.
