Location
West of the Yarra, East of SA,
OK so the new detector is out there and everyone's talking about it ..... gave up reading/talking and actually got out there yesterday.
Couple of pics to get us back on track ..... small but gold anyway.
All with the SDC, 2 different locations, the group of 4 are pieces 19 - 22 from well worn patch (willing to get out there with a GPZ user, after I've been over it with a GPX). The small piece next to the specie shed from the quartz when I tried to clean it, think there should have been a larger piece out of that specie but couldn't find it.

Thanks for sharing Teemore.

Very nice pieces and I can imagine the sense of a good feeling it gives you find a piece.

Couple of reports from WA on 4umer. One bloke got 5 in 1.5hrs & another 28 for the day. Neither really talked it up yet though.
Keep going with what you've got I reckon.

I am totally with you on this one.

I am gobsmacked that the 4500 have kept their value at around $3800 to $4200 and teh GPX 5000 can be purchased
for the same price.

I have seen 2 units less than 3 months old one is selling at $4500 and the other just under 5k.

The low price 5K's are only the guys looking to get a GPZ right away, I recon the price will bounce back once the hype drops off.

This will provide the information I want regarding the 7000 , one patch done over by a GPX , then SDC or vice versa , followed by a gridding with a good operator with a 7k.

That to me will indicate it's true value in everyday use over an SDC / GPX package

Cheers Teemore

Nice gold

Good luck Scanner1, but don't expect miracles on yr 1st outing, lot of junk before I hit me first piece with the detector BUT better to be out tree looking than vegetating.
Cheers T.

You want Gold not GPZ?

All found with my SDC since August last year. Turn on then detect.

I wont get rich but its fun finding gold every outing!

That's what we want to see Retirement Stone, more GOLD less talk about what we can't afford.

Nice haul, very nice indeed.
Cheers T.
