Glad I've got the other machines to fall back on hey !
bit of ticky tacky and the 70 will be on the roll again :Y:
speaking of silvers
that florin. .... cooked too long and the iron started to redeposit.
so I've got the bicarb ready to go next up.
.
I did go out for milk before..... and took advantages
Looks like I'm slowing..... I've got a few more under my belt yet though.
Today's (well yesterday's really cause midnite's ticked over already) hunt results.
just the two with the Ace.
1911 thrippy
smashed up... n smooth on the other side
rings smashed too
stone looks pretty still though
kept this photo in.... liked how it caught a reflection.
Nice one mate..nice reflection pic No evil demon in that ring..
Oh by the way your inbox is full mate tried to pm you the other day to see if your ok as havnt seen much of ya lately. :Y:
Thanks fellas.... I've had a few unproductive hunts lately where I was the one left with the jaw dropped and a welling in the corner of my eye (so I never posted those  ).
they even let me hold their silvers.... rubs salt deep into the wound of my heart lol.
teaches me many things
but... gee it makes you try till the end.... wishing all the while.
so.... even though that 1911 thrippy is all beat up (not my retrieval either  )... I am more than happy to hold it with my grubby little fingers.
Looks more like a hammered coin than a sixpence, poor coin. Still, can't complain about two silver finds from a hunt - at least have been out and about, the weather is shocking down here at the moment. :|
