Yamba.
Caught the Bream / Tarwhine on Dough .
Gave it to the creature & took the photo myself.
Posted it on facebook some 8 yrs ago.
Sea Eagle was exceptionally friendly but would not turn for a better pic.
This little one was fed some raw meat from hand and near on took my finger off then conveniently laid her eggs under the annex and took off. Damn bogan mothers leaving me and wife with their kids . Test picture anyway.
If you want to see spiders, wear a head-lamp/light.
Walking around the Pilbara at night with a headlamp, you’ll see tiny blue/white reflections every you look. Go in close, you’ll see that they’re actually reflections from the eyes of various types of spiders. Not visible using a handheld torch, only with a head mounted light.
All those years I just slept on a mat on the ground…
yeah i'm a bit anti-environmentalist unfortunately when it comes to night.
Aldi surface/barrier spray really made me aware of how many centerpiedes are drawn in from water around camp in really dry conditions/environments.
The torch/light is still handy equipment yes.
Making its way through camp 8am this morning, just in front of my boots.
Male mouse spider. Venemous.
Google "black spider with red head"
Followed it 15 metres out of camp and let it go on....
