Yesterday I finished the rear bumper for my d-max which got damaged up at Western Creek a couple of months ago. ]

Going to need a bigger rock to damage it next time.

I did not make it , but we installed it today.
Dual battery set up for my Prado.
sidewinder solenoid with two new batteries.
60 Ah AC Delco crank battery and an Amp-teck 60Ah deep cycle battery

Today I modified my detecting pick

now that my pick is super magnetic I came up with another idea... lets make a spare pick!!
Start out with an old leaf spring

cut to bits

welded it up

and done

Not sure how this handle will go (long term)but the wooden handles on offer at bunnings were a very poor chinese joke

Very nice Sandta, the scalloped front reminds me of a smaller version of a Pelican pick.
I don't know if Kruger Handles are still in business but they made the best Spotted Gum handles.

I made a Poncho for my Daughter so she stays warm when we go detecting and so she doesn't complain about the cold.

No sewing machine so I had to hand sew.....Oh well she loves it which is all that matters.

It even has a Hoodie and a Heart to complete it.

I just cut the bottoms off my jeans to make shorts and as for socks well they get thrown out and I get new ones.
