I can relate to that very well dug.. missus is always at me because whenever I take up a new hobby I make all these different tools and accessories before I have really gotten into the hobby .. for me a lot of it is the fun of making my own gear and then using it in the field .. i dont have half the amount of enjoyment if im using a bought item for some reason

Yep that's me to a tee madworld .I reckon it will help in the field though ,from the research associated with the build.

Cleaning up in the junk container today and found a couple of "rubber things" that u have been hanging onto for years ... never known what I could use them for but knew there would be something.

Hey Ned,

The painting is awesome mate. You should be proud of your work buddy.

To be honest I'd be keen to know how much you might consider selling this one for.
If you want to to sell it, I'd appreciate first dibs.

Regards

Lambi

G'day Lambi, thanks for the kind words mate, I appreciate the input, I only finished it this morning, I love to paint from about 4.30am when I wake until around 7, very quiet and peaceful, wonderful stress reliever. I have only sold two of my paintings so far mate, I don't really try to sell them, I have people just say "I'll have that" and give me money which is good for replenishing the paints, canvases etc. which can get expensive after a while. This will need to sit for a couple of weeks mate, to allow the oils to dry properly, but if your interested in buying it then, you can certainly have first chance, I will PM you a little more info if you like, cheers Ned. :)

Nice painting, you should get some prints made and sell them at the old gold mining towns. I'd bet they would sell like hot cakes.

and if no one else is going to say it ...... Where's Wally? :D  :D

I made this spray bar assembly, I need some advice on the section coming down, I plan to add lay flat hose to it should I just have a small section of pvc coming down from the T and glued in or should I leave the long pieces unglued so I can't alter it and pull it out of the T according to where the water and pump sits?

I went through the same drama mate....it all depends where your pump will be? Layflat can bend a little?
I joined mine straight to T section with sleeve?
You didnt need to use pressure fittings as you wont get that type of psi. Bit late i know sorri.
A straight pce to ground makes sense to keep your layflat unkinked...i would put 45 on Tsection unglued so it can rotate either side?
Plus do ya realy wanna carry all that pvc around?
