All the comforts Wally,...Just need one of K57s paintings on the wall now,...big chest under the bench Wally ?

That chest weighs a tonne Silver, I just moved the darn thing.,I made it to store tools in the back of a hilux I one had. It weighed so much that it had the added advantage that it kept the rear end from sliding out. Now it just holds treasure, I will put it in the boat one day and bury it on an island and draw you all a treasure map to fight over when I leave this world.

K57s paintings ???? Not sure I have seen them

Funny you say that, I have just commissioned Normeve's daughter to have a crack at putting my toy on canvas for that wall

I wish that my workshop was so organized and tidy.

Rob

It's day one Rob, day 2 will look like a hurricane has hit it :8

I find it hard enough to keep things ok when I am working there by myself, but I have a son and grandson (both adults that live with me) who make a lot more mess than I do. Oh well I would prefer them to be doing things in the workshop than getting into strife elsewhere.

Rob.

My wrong wally I meant to say a Ned Kellys Not Deads painting.(too much chardy clouding the mind at the time{I think})
post number 680.

Little swings strategically placed to miss the target will leave your nuggets unmarked. ( I learnt this the hard way 8.( )

I used a good quality block splitter handle from hardware store. It seemed a little short, but is longer that the handle on the biggest one at Miners Den, so am hoping it is ok. Haven't used it yet in the bush, but plan to do so this W/E.

The plough disc pick will be great. A prospector made one for me in his home workshop in Kalgoorlie four years ago It had a metal handle and Roy has just replaced the handle with a longer wooden one from the hardware store. We usually take 2.
