i never but the mrs did roast pork and veg went down very nicely too, i am off to mince some pork shoulder ( about 5kg )and make some pork sausages now .

Bit of a no frills meal tonight, rustic salad, bacon, spuds and the dessert since I had an old milo tin handy....steam pudding with home made custard.

It looks a little like you are using a Kelly Kettle, or something like them. Versatile little device, with the extras.

it is a ghillie m kettle , serves as the water bottle as well , carries enough for two cups
i bought the ghillie cause it is pommy made (small industry) the kelly is also pommy, but made off shore 8.( (chinese made)
the other is a stickman woodgas stove with a 12 volt power supply (down to 6volt) :Y:

My specialty is using my feet. But I save that for very special occasions.

There's something about starting a fire and throwing some meat on it.
Very therapeutic I recon.
Some chicken wings [love the crispy tips straight off the barby] and some marinated pork neck.
Gave the 12v BBQ a good run on the weekend.
