A detector. So i don't feel left out.

Welcome to the club, now go and find that gold sovereign ;)

What did you get ?

Might have to be plural so the other half keeps the disquiet down to a murmur. A man and his hobbies is easily distracted. Got an f75 from a mate. He has enough hand written instructions to make me feel like I'm studying for a degree. He was leaving to go interstate and gave me one last chance to buy. I really couldn't say no, my first detector for 5 years. I've missed having one. Terribly. I'm like a little kid again. Doesn't take much to make me smile. First swing I got a silver spoon, a copper piece from an old lantern and a .303 shell casing.

Today I bought an 18" mono coil for the GPX5000. $170, gotta love that.
Now to find that 3' deep 10 kilo lump of heart attack material. :)

A GPX 5000, last saturday before i joined this forum.

There is plenty of them on Flea Bay, most you have to dismantle, this one was already done.
I thought we did a good job to get it all in one load.

nice of them to remove it for you too . lucky score

i wasted a lot of effort trying to find one like that years ago but it was "jinxed" and just wouldnt fall into place for me.

2 - 3 years later the govt resumed the home for a railway line so i understood why destiny threw a spanner in the works for me.

surprising what bargains you can pick up if youre a "stubborn optimistic persistant bargain hunter" :)

nice, that trailer looks pretty new to Redfin.

Maiden voyage, see previous page.
Will need it down the track a bit for firewood, once I put a winch on it.
