Have you checked to see if the zip heads cause a problem yet?

Rob P

Not worried Rob, I'll work around it. Have used boots with the metal zip head before and not a problem.

Cheers

I have the side zip as well, but they do make a 6" boot as well which Mrs Redfin has.
They are a full lace up model, metal free.

Nice boots but I'm getting lazy these days and hate doing up laces. 40 years doing laces and I think I deserve some zip ups for a change.

Having the little bit of metal in the zip head is handy when I want to see if the detector is still working. Lots of times out bush without getting any target signals.

Cheers

I bought this for a quick swing around the back deck and path living virtually under the gum trees.

It is light and battery powered allowing the missus to just flick the switch and go,plus the battery can be used on over 60 other Ryobi power tools.

6 year tool replacement warranty and 3 year battery and charger replacement warranty and it was $50.00 cheaper than Bunnings delivered to my door.

The wife couldn't be happier

Thanks :Y:

P.S. I don't think I am able to load upright photo's but not from the lack of trying.

I use a program called Irfanview, it's simple enough for anyone to learn to use and best of all, it's free

Today I bought a nugget finder 14*9 inch coil. Birthday present. Tried it out near Ampithertre, sorry about the spelling, found the usual nails, bolts and led. Did find five hot rocks in one hole though, a first for me. It is a lot more sensitive than the 11 commander and will take a bit of getting used to.
