Another 10m of 1.5" lay flat with resin camlock fittings

Once a length of CFA 38mm lay flat hose is damaged, they dispose of them as they need to be a set standard length...

If you know anyone in the CFA or inquire at your local shed, they more than likely will give you some for gratis - an offering of a six pack would probably help your chances too :-D

I got some set aside for me

Now just need to get some fittings & - hey presto!

Hi all,

Had a nice find down at the Opal Expo today at one of the stalls there. Wandered past this pick and thought, hang on a minute... that's a detecting pick! After a quick chat with the seller and asking why he had a gold pick up here? I found out he makes them for detectorists in Vic. It's a beauty! Made from an old plow disc (good quality spring steel) with a hardwood shaft 2' 2" (67cm) long with a tension rod inside and has a nice weight about it. My Walco wore out just in the few days of relatively easy digging at Stuart Town. I never liked the mild steel construction of those Walco's, but this should stand up to the punishment nicely! So $100 and a handshake later and I have a great pick! Just need to break it in on a few good targets now

Finally got a SD2200D that I have been chasing for awhile. Now impatiently awaiting delivery. Can't wait to run it over some of the areas that I have gotten shallow stuff with the GMT + some other ground that I suspect may need the extra depth of the PI.
