Just wondering, are you in Victoria, and if you are how the hell do you go out in this heat? I won't be going out until the heat gets to a reasonable level. I suppose that's why you are getting the gold. Ha, ha.

only been going out early in the mornings for about 3-4 hrs and the same late in the afternoons to beat the heat

I found it near old diggings someone years ago also used a dozer to push up dirt in that area some one in the past also used a detector as well so it proves that just because there are old detector holes doesn't mean they got all the gold
