Sad news
Unfortunately another piece of history gone.
If it's anything like the Lions Den hotel near Cooktown it is a tragedy.
Wow, what a bummer.... Ive had some nice times at the front bar there and always enjoyed a good feed.
I believe the owners are connected to Gumvale and were always obliging with info and directions.
I guess the Family Hotel across the road is gonna be busy now... the only other waterhole in town. :brokenh:

This is real disaster for the community. Hope the guys pull through :awful: 8.(

u right nightjar, it have to be over 120 yr old this were i grew up i used meet up with my psychologist there every Friday :lol: :lol: :lol:
