Bahaha nice one Ozzie. Bit hot down that way I'm guessing. I was born and bred in SA and don't miss that kind of heat mate. I'm in Cairns have been for 4 years now and love it. I do miss Yorke peninsula and the mettwurst and bung fritz mate but it's a sacrifice I'm willing to give up to live in paradise. Stay cool mate down there. Cheers Cliff

Welcome to SA

My brother just sent me a text with a picture of his ute sitting on the black top for 25 min and one tyre blew a hole in the side wall. didn't he bitch and carry on......Oops! need turn turn up the A/C

Yep AC would be nice here. Rental. Landlord said they were gunna put in AC 2 years ago, still hasn't happened despite me asking nicely several times. The extreme heat knocks Rebel around a bit.

Pretty bloody warm over there Ozzie, I remember living in Mildura & having multiple days or weeks close to or above 40, some around 45-46.
The worst ones were when at work, outside in stainless steel wine tank bases TIG welding, had to cover the tank floor with rags so we could kneel down to weld the seems, went through alot of water thats for sure.

Gotta be tough to survive out there backcreek, 44c is just a 'normal day'.

He is posted in Darwin at the moment, and is doing a 10,000 km solo trip during his holidays.
Darwin to Welborn for a weeks work, Welborn to Adelaide to visit mates, Adelaide to Sydney for Christmas with the family. Sydney to Townsville to visit mates then Townsville back to Darwin. This kid is 19 yo.

While parts of Oz are experiencing normal summer temperatures for this time of the year Perth nights are still calling for a doonas. Days have only got above 30 a couple of times. No doubt the heat will come, just a little later in the season than usual.

The next will be heavy rain, just like a couple years ago.
Albany is having a top temp of 19c
Regards Frank
