Wouldn't he jump about if you grabbedhim by the tail and tried slipping your other hand in under his back legs :p

Goldfreak, I have no idea who the bloke is.
I grew up in a nature reserve, worked in another and also in a reptile park. I couldn't count how many I have seen die or have to be euthanized due to stress, poor nutrition from people taking them from the wild as pets and spine fractures due to mishandling.

This guy is my hero. He doesn't only Reduce, but he recycles and re-uses. I wonder if there's any use for their innards?
You skin a cat and you skin a rabbit and it can be hard to tell the difference.
Cats are a staple in the diets of many indigenous groups.
I'm all for anything that keeps the feral animal population down. :perfect: :Y: :power:

Agree on that too.
I have no sympathy for feral bloody cats.

Only had 243's or 222,s but they did tend to cause
the moggies a bit of a belly ache.
Well, Not really, There was no belly to ache.
I did go for head shots not being cruel but some times,
I was a bit off.
Especially from the front because they naturally
turn to face you hiding their body. Low Profile esp
behind a tussock.

No need to say what happens there. :awful: :8
Esp. with a 303/25

Shot gun at close range if you could would generally
clean them up a bit.

Cats here get picked up with 2 hands too. Forequarters in one hand and hindquarters in the other. There is usually no spine left to support :D

Hell of a lot more Feral people than cats out there utterly destroying the flora and fauna all over the world on a grand scale and I don't see them being shot, poisoned skinned and tossed on the barbie...I hear they taste a bit like chicken. :drooling:

yeah well Adrian...If we were allowed to shoot and skin feral humans you'd be good for one of those poof seats your mumma had in front of the lounge and maybe a wrinkly old coin purse :D

Thanks for the answer. I like cats but can't justify having one again because where we are there are many lizards and small birds. We used to also have alot of Bandicoots here around the house. It took over a decade to see them in large numbers but unfortunately it only took a fox two days to clean them all up. The fox is now fertilising my passionfruit but the damage has already been done.

Our bloody cat is hopeless on catching things.

Over fed a bit and too slow.

One day I seen him front a blue tongue.
One I had been hand feeding for a few years.
It was a big lizard I could pick up and feed in my hands.
Stuck his nose out to sniff what it was.
Blue Tongue hissed at him.

Instant fur ball going backwards in the air. Hilarious.

He never went near one again.

I'm too scared to pat my mates lamas. Keep thinking they will bite.

If they're anything like their cousins the alpacas, it's spitting and kicking that you need to worry about.
Funny you say that. We had to shear a few the other day. My old man who shouldn't have been there and nephew got a real beauty in the face. Vile smelling stuff and green to boot. They reckon it took two showers to get the smell out. Alpacas are not my favourite animal.

Obviously approaching it wrong, at shearing time the local breeders would combine forces and we'd shear around 80 per day, crew of 3, never got spat at or kicked :) The real entertainment was at Ag Shows when people wanted to pat the Alpacas, they'd come from behind and pat their bum, head would spin round in a flash and let fly  I'd then ask the unlucky culprit (often women) how they would react if someone came up from behind and patted them on their ass??

totally agree please just say hello or take a pic and leave the snake lizard bird or what ever to its self that way every one is happy
cheers all
