Just seeing if anyone has used it before in place of wax or glue?? I am looking at getting some to see how it goes.

Save your money. It's doing the same job as wax with a similar process but softens at a lower temp: 145*F V's 170*F (Black wax) and at twice the price.

Sorry but I can't see any benefits or am I missing something?

TBH I like the thinking and not knocking it but....
Another concern would be 'can it physically bond to the stone' as in when using wax you really need to use shellac to create that good bond.
