I had to go to the quacks this morning for a bit of a damaged knee, 8.( told him what I had done and when, bit of twisting and pulling , his advice was "take an aspro and come back in 2 weeks if it's no better" :| On the way home I remembered this thread and the reference to "rapigel" :Y: Into Petstock on the way home.
Slapped some on the knee, geeze this stuff is bloody cold  on the down side the dog is sneezing his head off and won't come near me
:) :)
I'll update progress later
cheers Keith

hehe xcavator...don't forget the heat treatment!...sorry about the dog...you'll know its working soon enough when you start doing tap dances in the kitchen! I know there are delicate ears not far off on this forum so I won't go further and talk about the ...other side-effects...suffice to say ,you may have difficulty laying from side to side in bed  :p ...hehe.... hope it helps you as it did me...cheers

Yep , I found that out after using Only Emu Oil Chilli rub and went to the toilet-only washed my hands twice -GEEZUS it hurt so much.
That is one thing i will never do again-my wife uses rubber gloves but you have to be careful because touching you back even the next day will have the same burning effect.

Ha Ha, that reminds of what happened to mate a few years back. 6 of us organized a private tour through parts of Turkey, well the hygiene in some places left a bit to be desired and 4 of us got a dose of Turkey Tummy , well after 2 or 3 days frequent toilet stops and a bit of heat rash, things were getting a bit tender in the ring area.
Well mate couldn't stand it any longer and found a pharmacy to get something like "savlon" to ease the burning, well he doesn't speak Turkish and the girl in the shop didn't speak English and he really couldn't drop his dacks to show her what the problem was, but he eventually managed to get across that he needed a soothing cream. Oh what joy, he thought as he headed for the dunny , only to come out about a minute later with tears running down his face and holding the tube of cream.
Wtf is wrong was asked, the strangled reply was " the **** cream is MENTHOLATED "

True story I kid you not ( and no, it wasn't me )

cheers Keith

Sure did!! It too about 15 mins. to wash away the stuff especially from around my eyes. Whew!! The trouble is you tend to forget it's still there on the 2nd day.

2 applications of the wondergel and I must admit most of the pain and swelling has subsided but the clock that goes tick tock each time I walk is still there atm
Giving it another bash in half an hour
cheers Keith

If you can put a loose bandage or knee guard on overnight keeps it on your knee and not the sheets and helps to keep it warm as well
