G'day all
I'm a new member, thanks for letting me join the discussion. I have an old Tesoro Stingray that I bought back in the 1990's, a sweet little unit that was claimed at the time to be the first reasonably-priced underwater detector in Oz. I decided to give it a run the other day and unclipped the waterproof cover to install the batteries, forgetting to undo the waterproof cable clamps on the bottom of the control box. You guessed it - yanked a couple of wires right off the circuit board. Anyone out there got one of these units? I need a photo of the innards to work out where to solder them back on. Dooh. :8

Unfortunately, Gullyraker hasn't been back to this forum since June 2020, so I guess we'll never know.
out of the blues, I'm looking for a proper manual for the Tesoro Stingray, and tips, any idea?
This is all I could find in case it could help someone :)

To my knowledge, Tesoro never produced pdf manuals. The website printout that you have is as good as it gets with Tesoro!

Most of their market appeared to be in the USA and there was plenty of discussion and info about them on US forums while the company was still around. Some of that may still be accessible, although many forums have dwindled or closed since Facebook came along. Either way, you'll have to dig deep to find it I'm afraid.

Some Tesoro models were rebranded and sold in the UK under a different name that I can't remember. If you come across a detector with the same outward appearance but different branding, that's a British-market Tesoro.
