Ted Abbott @ Hill End

G'day all,
Spent the long W/End in Hill End with the wife. Did some 8 hr's panning with Ted Abbott. Ted's still going strong at 78 & can find gold in a coal mine.
We panned a gram & took two pickers out near the cemetry.
The creeks are up a bit but leaving dust high & dry.
Ted took 8 groups of tourists thru & showed them the art. Great with the kids & still gets a broad smile when the littlies find a flake.
Absolute Legend & Gentleman.
Highly recommended especially as it's the last week end of the school holidays. Get Ted to show a new generation of Goldie's.

Does Ted Abbott take tours through the week, I am a newbie to prospecting and was thinking of going to Hill End.

'Yes' Ted does tours & tuition on booking.

Ted will supply everything but it pays to have a good pair of comfortable Gum Boots at least knee length.
Hill End Ranch is a good, affordable place to stay.

I highly reccomend Ted he has heaps of great stories plus he can do a full pan in 38 seconds! It is impressive to watch and you will be learning from a true master!
