The new technology added to cars. A lot of it is unnecessary & adding to a new generation of lazy drivers.
for example, last year when my Brother's new Colorado dual cab had an anxiety attack because I drove down the fenceline within 1m of the fence :awful: :N:
And other vehicles with the likes of 'lane departure warning' .... hey :poop: head, just watch the bloody road!! 8.(
It all adds up to more electrics to stuff up.

I have a perfectly good electric stove top in our kitchen we haven't used in 10 years . cook every night on a camping stove that sits on top of the electric one !

I thought it was only me that did that. Somehow it feels more normal to use the camp oven inside than the real thing :Y:

We use the Weber outside at least once every week throughout the year, sometimes twice or more. It's great value, and no cooking smells in the house (I love my lamb chops with mash potatoes & gravy with lots of veg), but Mrs Deepseeker doesn't like the smell (the food, not me). We've been running a Swap & Go gas bottle from the green warehouse that I think they must have overfilled or something as it's been going for well over 18 months now! It may also have something to do with the parabola shaped lid of the Weber reflecting back heat, as it seems to cook really hot while running the lowest of flames. :perfect:

there is a family owned Pizza Shop where I live. Its been here for at least 35yrs that I can remember, & possibly 50 or more.
They still refuse to put an EFPOS machine in. CASH ONLY!
(they make the best pizza's in town, so they get away with it)

What technology are you holding out on ?

Windows 10... :argh: I do have it on a spare pc just to access a few programs I need. My main machine runs Debian Linux it is an awesome OS once you get the hang of it. Have been playing around with Linux for quite a number of years now, got to love open source software. :Y:

Same here, I haven't use the stove in a few years, They really chew the power and ramp up the bill, and the Camp stove responds being Gas a lot faster that the electric Hot Plates and is more controllable when cooking.
