Talking about signs

Yeah the young lady our small country town lost recently, came home from her further studies for a break, she was a Dux throughout her Secondary schooling, full rich life ahead. Knocked our small community for six. The French driver in other car was charged and convicted but because of her young age was released to her parents to take her home.
A bloody tragedy for both families, this being played out all over OZ farming communities. The signs aren`t the complete answer for sure, but is a difficult one the paid work being good for the backpacker, good for the farmer as most seem to be top willing workers. Seems for diplomatic and cross country agreements, inter licenses are fairly easy got. Tis a problem.

Great sign, good to see there's a bit of freedom in that area.

I noticed while driving through the Hay Plains couple weeks ago that all the Kangaroo warning signs had a pair of balls painted on the kangas, saw it on about 6 signs... dedication... :lol:

For years there was a Batman Insignia painted on an entrance sign into the ACT from NSW
about the Police Presence revolving around the AFP.
Policy dictates that the sign indeed post haste, has to be replaced owing to being defaced as a general protest by the public citizens.
They have not replaced it as it was done in good taste in about 20 years ago.
We do have actual Human Beings that can see the funny tasteful side of life on certain matters.
Please do not go out defacing reflective advisory signs on this premise.
It was small, Unobtrusive and well done.

Garner both the advertiser and the host of many sets of dollars played out by a simple eye catching public
display of an adjective value of premises yet again, appeal to our simple voyeuristic mindset of pure fun.

There was a radio station in Canberra running an ad for a carpet cleaning company I think it was, proudly announcing "Now servicing Yass".

The NSW National Parks fun police in action on the Barraba Track in Mt Kaputar NP. Only 4WD track that I know of that has speed advisory signs. The track is that rough you would be lucky to get above 10 kph anyway.
