One foot out the door
Not really introducing myself just letting those I know on PA that I'm still around.
Right eye has been stuffed for about 3 years now, they can't/won't operate because of location of the problem and have learnt to live with it .... problem is my good eye has developed a hole in the retina (again) ... cleared itself last time but not so confident this time around (although I can almost read these pages without a magnifying glass at the moment).
Could only drive in bright/good conditions being barely able to read large roadsigns until almost on them. In truth probably shouldn't be driving at all.
Good news is that on return from overseas I will have it operated on (unless it rights itself again) just means 10 days laying face down .... don't ask me how that will be handled.
Looking forward to a month overseas and then getting back into the goldfields in a big way August/September (post op).
Love looking at the pictures of all your finds, just wishing I was out there as well.
