A new technology using soundwaves can actually levitate dust particles and even manipulate them to arrange shapes.

im wondering if this tech can also be applied to separate particular weights of materials into groups at different levels in the air.

imagine throwing a shovel of material over a speaker and as it does this seeing the gold floating by itself in thin air!

I have been thinking of something similar.. when earth quakes strike sand and water liquify and heavy things sink into it.(liquification) My thinking is that vibrations in sand and water may settle the heavys to the bottom. Maybe a cone shaped container to super concentrate the gold at the bottom?? :)

Definitely a possibility. I take old thumper speakers out of their housing, cover in cellophane, fill cone with cornflour/ water mix, add drops of food colour and turn on some thumping doof beats and turn up the smile factor. Take a lot of experimenting to get the frequency patterns and amplitude dialed in. Froth flotation using air

Our cuzzy bro Cantabrians across the dutch have a fair bit of experience in this department

tip of the iceberg people...now chuck that subby/vibration under a sluice or entire HB suspended on springs and sink the yella!!!!!!
