If the Turon is dry
Your in with a chance .
But be prepared to dig some rubbish
And some more rubbish !
I've been detecting the central west nsw
Gold fields for years .
And my strike rate isn't great !
In the river itself !
Bout 300 to one
Rubbish to gold
starts the ratio .
It took me a long time to get my head around the Turon
Sometimes I'll come home with only a sub grammer
Other days ill bring home an ounce patch
But it's patchy
You have to think outside the square
The gold is spread from sunny corner
To palmers / Tobin Oakey
Right past hill end , Hargreaves Ophir
And so forth .
A lot is private property but there is patches of crown land between

I wouldn't need to go bigger than a 16 round .
Most of the time I use a 14
