Just came back from Warwick thanes creek with the family.
Purchased a cheap 3d printed sluice, couple YouTube on how to use it and washed some gravel. Managed to get a few small flecks of gold. Was heaps of fun with the kids. Although we had no idea what to do but we had fun
Kids are itching to go again however we found that the fossicing area on the thane river in Warwick wasn’t much of a rive, few small streams here and there.
Is there any other hidden or non hidden larger rivers north of brisbane for a day trip or overnight that we could try our luck at.
I have a 4wd so getting off the track is fine for us.
Is there anything around Charlie Moreland Camping Area kennel worth maybe can doa. Camping trip there with the family.
