A few extra pics added on after the build.
breather for positive pressure fan. This is simply a bilge fan and moves about 20cf air per min sucking through the filter from the out side and pressurizing the canopy therefore stopping any dust getting in The inlet is stuffed with filter foam from jenkins rubber.
Pos press fan mounted in behind the false wall and vented through the top of the walls
Internal rod holders, hides the rods away from prying eyes
Drop down tv
Wind up legs made from extended jockey wheels. These were not that successful and will be changed with something more sturdier in the not too distant future
Sink top showing the bayonet gas fitting that I extend the BBQ hose with.

Very fast set up and pack up :
Versatile, allows me to tow a trailer with a quad bike and all the required sluice and detecting gear if required
The ute does not struggle to carry it, and much more fuel efficient than towing a camper trailer
Fully self contained
Heaps of storage
Portable ie removable
Don't have to cover the load as required by law on a ute
With addition of a 6x3 gazebo over the top the whole set turns into a huge living area.( a tent can be added onto the end of the gazebo for extra people)
Negatives
Heavy as opposed to aluminum
Time taken to build
Have to drill mounting holes in the tray to secure the canopy .
Have to be proficient with backing with mirrors
Costs(all are approx)
Frame $600
Skin $900
Ply and drawers $1600
Prewire and wire with elect fit out $2200
Finish $1000
Misc $2000(this included buying special tools required and covers the stuff ups including the hinges that cost $500, the air bags $400, tubes and tubes of silicon etc, rubber door seals, gas struts, welding wire etc etc )
Very misc $1000 BEER

That's an awesome looking setup you have build there. Camping spot looks fantastic too.
