Hey guys,this is a different site to the flood coins, a cricket field.
Being qld,there are a few spots the grass doesn't grow very well. I must admit I picked the shilling up to look at it before remembering to take a photo

Quick one hour hunt down the road.Ground is damper than usual and the signals seem much clearer.
Pulled a personal bucket lister for me,finally got my Brit half penny,along with a brit penny.

Thanks Goldpick, I have found 1 British silver in this area,it was a 1872 Shilling across the road from where these 2 were found. Going back in the morning whilst the conditions are right.

Thanks Daggy, probably won't do much more with these as they are pretty toasted.
Just need to find a better example from non flood prone ground.

Today's finds, ring seems to be copper.

Britt half penny cleaned up a bit more,was not as old as I thought.
