Hi ppl's ,Rockhound and I got out for a dig at some old and new spots today.
Bit of variety of finds for both of us, and I may have snaffled the Shilling out from under his nose whilst he was digging one of his rare for these parts finds
First coin for the day.
The snaffled Shilling, Rockhound was soooo close to getting his first King George the IV, I feel kind of sorry for him :8
Looking at the head, it's date range is 1825 - 1829, pretty old for this area.
Other ppl's leftovers from a well dug site.
Old pitch finally free of the waist high grass that has been hiding it.
Part of a coinspill,a penny and half penny were around 30cm away.
And the rest, thanks for looking and happy hunting.
