Silver at last

After around 5 trips to the old train station site,it has finally payed out some Silvers for me. Was beginning to think there just wasn't any here. First find of the day.

Then the pennies came out to play.

Low and slow, a few erratic signals worth checking.

The days takings minus lots of lead and can trash. 2c coin fell pray to the train tracks

Half pennies 1926,1946,1951 Pennies 1952, 1948 plus a home made lead heart pendant.

Silvers after a little cleaning, florin was in the worst condition I have found but cleaned up okay.

Thanks silver the jeep looks pretty old,has steel wheels. Will clean it up a bit more and see if there is a makers mark.

Sure it's not a landrover, that bonnet looks familiar? Nice hunt in the silvers, persistence and a bit of patience always pays off on sites like that.

Thanks guys,think Goldpick may be right about the land rover. Just cleaned it a bit more an no markings on the bottom at all.

So a permission site I hit on Saturday was a bust, only found one dollar.
Went out to the old train station to try and salvage the day, finds being a cross under a huge mango tree and a weird pendant.

Had an hour to kill this afternoon,so went down the road for a buckle frenzy and a few coins.

I also found out that ants like to make nests in leaves at the end of branches,I'm lucky there was no one around to see me stripping off and running around swatting ants as they were biting me :N: :N:

Those ants have never bitten me, you musta upset em pretty bad ,... they do so panic a lot though. :lol:
