I've got to share this.

I stopped by a metal recyclers today looking for that ever elusive sloped expanded mesh. I'm sure a lot of people on this forum who have hit the walbanker build post will know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, I asked the fella if he had some. After saying he didn't, he asked what for. I told him it was for fossicking for gold. He actually said, 'Do you know how many blokes come in here asking for stuff for fossicking? There must be a heap of gold out there!'.

Really nice guy, it was no trouble for him to get out of his truck to help me out. (Unanderra recyclers in the Illawarra)

I'm just happy to know there must be a heap of gold out there!

Thats funny. I went to Reece irrigation shop yesterday to buy parts for spray bar for my new banker. I was in a suit and a tie and the guys were asking what am I going to do with the stuff. I told them what its for and they also said lot of prospectors frequent their shop. Hahaha

Great to see we are helping the economy. I'm back to a different recyclers tomorrow, I'm sure they are happy for the customers...well maybe, we can be a little picky.

Just thought its was funny that these guys see a heap of prospectors.

Not only are we recycling, paying GST on everything and being inovative and inventive; we are the boost the economy needed. The Pollys should thank us and make more areas open to fossicking.
