Had an interesting conversation with a bloke calling himself "Harry " in Derby W.A. he reckons the $16,900 2006 model JCB 4CX is still available with only 3294 hours, and 3CX for $12,500 he can transport it from Derby in W.A. to Beaudesert QLD at my front door for only $900 each ,,, the "shipping company " take payment of $900 each upfront then they take whole payment as intermediaries upon delivery ,,,, if I don't like it when it arrives deal's off and they happily refund the lot,,, told him bewdey I'll take the 2,,,, I'll get it sorted ASAP and send the $1800 for the 2 shipping charges plus all my personal information via internet along with an invoice for the tooth fairy !!! ) BTW he spoke fluent English with a Russian accent.

You wouldnt get a real transport quote from WA to QLD for less than $ 5000 - 6000 for a tractor.

It costs me $ 2500 for a telehandler from Perth to Sydney and thats mates rates on a backload.

I lodged a complaint with the cybercrime unit in victoria and after 8 days the website is still there phishing away.

Yep that is what Id expect. Covid has bought out all the rats with gold teeth. Bloody waste of time telling the coppers they have enough on their plates atm.

Looked at the same addfor the jvc, did some research and found a report from the W.A.gov site outlining their exact m.o. and warning of the SCAM. Stay well away from them.

Aussie Heavy Equipment are a scam. They have been using our company name and our ACN and ABN. We have reported them to ASC and the ACCC and have now taken legal action. So please do not have any dealings with them

This is great information. I suppose the old rule if you can't touch it and test it don't buy it. I have seen some bad scams recently for metal detectors also. Worth keeping in mind if you see a to good to be true deal.

It's actually harder to take down websites than you think.

Seeing it was a .com domain, the domain address could be registered anywhere.

The website hosting (where site files are stored) is also another part that needs to be dealt with. The website could of been behind a CDN (content delivery network) which helps hide the hosting location. If the site is hosted outside of Australia then there's really not much that can be done easy from our authorities.

Alot of scam websites are from Asia, Eastern Europe and the middle east because they have relaxed laws and there's not much western countries like Australia can do about it.

If it does get taken down, another will popup in it's place but with a different name etc. It's really never ending.

It costs $12 for a new .com for a year and anywhere from $20 and upwards to host a site online a year. It's so easy to setup a new cloned site elsewhere.

Seeing the domain auheavymachinery.com has negative comments when typing the address in Google, I wouldn't be surprised if the scammers themselves shutdown the website. No point having a scam site when the negative comments show on Google first.

They will probably re-brand the scam if they made good money from the machinery scam or try another industry to scam.

At the time of the original AU Heavy Machinery scam there were also websites for UK Heavy Machinery and CA Heavy Machinery (CAnada) in operation, so the tentacles of these thieving mongrels are global.
