Bottas leads from pole position most of the race until team rules kick in and he is forced to allow Hamilton past. What a bloody joke it's a race. What part of racing don't they understand?
Yep I know there's big money and championships involved but as a spectator I feel cheated!

Well they can't afford to give ferrari an inch, the bottom line is Lewis was in front of Vettel in the race and in the championship points lead by 40 points but Lewis only needs one DNF and then then Vettel would only need 15 points to take the lead and they loose Millions of Dollars as in over 100 million Dollars,

If they had finished where Lewis was 2nd then that would of added only 3 points to his lead but by adding 10 point to the 40 point lead he already has gives him a 2 Race 25x2 point advantage, So if Lewis has a crash or a motor Blow up then He is in a much safer position,

Doing the maths with 5 Races Left If Lewis finishes 3rd in every race that's left and Vettle comes first in every race "which is possible" then he would equal Lewis's score and He would get the win, Or Lewis has ONE DNF and 3 or 4 2nd or 3rd places then he will loose the championship, So like it or not What they did makes good sense.

Understand big money but it's a contrived result, you've got to feel for Bottas. The best driver, the fastest car did not win because of tampered with race result.
Even many of the commentators were not fans of the pass.
Nothing will change though so I'll just have to move on.

Yup nothing will change. Big bucks of f1 rule the podium before the next race even starts...but I couldnt care less, there still exciting and crackin cars to watch race.

At least Danny Ric had the gumption to bail out of Red Bull before they turned him into Webber Mk II (ie. a support act for their next golden boy). Interestingly, at Renault he'll be working with Alain Prost (aka The Professor), whose driving approach was similar to Danny's, so I'm expecting great things once their engine is competitive.

Nobody likes team orders, It has the opposite effect on race results a few years back for Mark Webber with Vettel so it's a double edged sword, But if it is legal and protects Lewis's championship then so be it, We have seen the same thing at Bathurst back in the 80's with Tom Walkinshaw's Jaguar's were car swapping etc changed the out come of the race etc.

But at the beginning of the season Lewis had one problem after the other and with penalties to match and then there was last year when Vettel Rammed/Side swiped Lewis's Car etc, yet Vettel got off pretty easy with that One, But If Lewis had sorted it out his way he would of kicked the crap out of Vettel, Because Lewis told them at the time he would sort it out of the Car after the race, Not many people know it but Lewis is a Black belt, Not the right way to behave from either party but at leased he let Vettel know what was on Offer if he wanted to play Rough.

I understand finances and all that sort of stuff but this is what you train for, make sacrifices for.

Its like making sure you come second in the swimming so that Ian Thorpe comes first because it means more sponsorship for the Australian Swimming team.

Yeah I can't understand how his position within the sport was going so well and then it just goes out the window without warning, Max is good and fun to watch and if he is amongst the leaders then anything could happen good and bad because he has no respect for anyone or anything, and just by the way he behaves he is a danger to all and him self, but Danny Ric gave RB a bit of class and put the fun back in to the team. But since how RB have treated him I have no interest in them and when they come on TV is the time I go and put the Jug On or answer Nature.

Danny Ric deserved Better.

yep, I hate team Orders and Penalties etc, Change a gearbox or what ever, well if they did not change it then they would soon run out of car/drivers, I think they should be given free reign and the fastest car wins, bugga what Turbo they use or how hot their Gas is etc, If it Runs and stops and it's safe then Race It, :Y: layful: :lol: :trophy:

To be honest I don't like the rules etc So it pays not to think too deep about it and just enjoy what it is on the surface,

Lewis has a skill that motor racing has not seen since we lost Jim Clark and you can see that in his hands as he is going in to corners, I hope he does get 7 or 8 more titles because he has the skill like we have never seen and I wish him luck,

Race and competition = win
Big $ means do as your told.
