Thanks everyone, not looking forward to the nighttime feeds, thankfully they are getting less and less as time goes by, so hopefully Cali is not far off sleeping all night.
All has come as a bit of a shock, after the procedure a month ago docs were confident things went well but biopsy results have proven otherwise.
We are all hoping there will be no need for chemo, time will tell.

Most of you know of Lorraines recent fall and her stay in hospital, she came home Saturday after we asked to be referred to our Ortho surgeon. Rang him 9.00 Monday, come see me 10.30. 11.30 CT Scan and Xrays. Tues full range of bloods, urines and ECG. We were to see him Mon 19th, phone rings, need to see you earlier things are not good. See him this morning and in his words the left shoulder is broken, numerous bone fragments and ligament and tendon damage.
Booked in for surgery Saturday to basically overhaul the whole left shoulder, pins, stitches, whatever is necessary. 5-7 days in hospital, 6 weeks minimum in a sling. Best we can hope for is being able to lift her arm to shoulder height.
When the rehab is done, an assessment will be made on the right shoulder and any further surgery.
Like most 2020 is a year to forget, oh well, onward and upward towards 2021.

Well done on getting the specialist to check it out, still not a good situation but probably better than if he wasn't consulted.
Had an aunt (89 at the time) being treated for a "sprained" ankle, had to do daily rehab exercises resulting in major pain (and she was VERY pain tolerant) .....
Long story short ...... bloody leg was broken, she was subjected to over a week of enduring pain.
Get that 2nd opinion .... always, docs aren't totally infallible.
Hope things go well for both of you.

Gooday Manpa, very sorry to hear about your good wife mate I've been starring at the computer screen wondering what to write, we feel sorry for you but words seem so inadequate at times like this don't they. It does look like your on top of things at this stage and I hope you remain so. All the best for the the op and lots of love from the bottom of Yorkes to you and Lorainne.

All the best wishes to Lorraine for tommorow, one day you will catch up with that chinaman mate. All our love and support.

G,day Numpty, shes doing ok, slowly regaining some movement in her right arm, can lift it sideways to mid chest height, no forward lift. Can hold a glass now. Left arm (operated on) still in sling, see specialist tomorrow, soon start physio. Black eyes are fading, another couple of weeks Id reckon before she wont look a prizefighter.
In herself she is ok, tired, intermittent sleep sitting up. Has lots of nana naps.
Im hoping she can have a reasonable Xmas with the grandkids. She misses picking them up and hugging them.

Hope all is well with you, happy hunting.
