Wow, a copper friendly location in Newcastle for a change, they are all in pretty good condition compared to what I am used to seeing from there - nice silvers too! :Y:

I have had my MI-6 since the 16th May. Have been out on 27 hunts with it and only charged it for the 2nd time. First when I got it and yesterday. It was down to 1 bar and would probably have lasted many more hours but as I was charging the other components I plugged it in as well. Pretty impressive.

Taking Rocket's advice I took extra care to keep the coil really low and slow. Nice damp, clean soil which seems to be kind to the coins. Specially the silvers. Got a few nice silvers and my new Favourite overseas coin.
A 2 Kopec from the Soviet Union (CCCP) dated 1961? Cool. a Cold war era Soviet coin.

Rocket works out my way so for this afternoon after work we planned to hit a few Demo sites and other random patches around town. After a couple of sites which gave a couple of pennies etc we ended up at a site I drive past everyday only 2 blocks from my house. Hidden in plain sight as they say.

Rocket started pulling the pennies and I came over to invade his patch. Not 2 metres from where he was digging his latest target, I got a sweet 93-94 signal. Only one thing could be better than a sheriff's badge to go with my toy pistols and handcuffs.... A US Marshall, Wyatt Earp badge. I'm stoked.

Rocket may or may not have called me a few naughty words.
